Maree Mac Guinness, CPN, is a Board-Certified Clinical Nutritionist holding dual degrees in Clinical Nutrition and Nutritional Medicine, along with an Associate Business degree in Information Technology. She is an active member of HMLS (Healthy Longevity Medicine Society), IMS (International Menopause Society), TMS (The Menopause Society), ANTA (Australian Natural Therapists Association) and registered with ANRANT (Australian National Register of Accredited Natural Therapists)

Hi, I'm Maree

Hi, I am Maree Mac Guinness, I am an enthusiastic clinical nutritionist, educator and advocate for women with a strong focus on health and longevity. For the past two years since being awarded my second bachelor’s degree in nutrition, I have taken a deep dive into science-backed research to gain a solid understanding of treating menopause symptoms and supporting healthy aging for women, whilst concurrently undertaking my Master’s in Human Nutrition. After experiencing surgical menopause at 45 following a full hysterectomy, I know firsthand how challenging the menopause journey can be, I sure was thrown in the deep end. This journey inspired me to return to health education and really find out how I could help myself and other women experiencing menopause symptoms and changes that really impacts their everyday life.

As the Clinical Director and Founder of Vitality Health Clinic on the Gold Coast, Australia, I’ve worked with hundreds of women, helping them navigate the symptoms of menopause, realigning hormonal imbalance, improving body composition, increasing energy, stabilising mood and rediscovering more confidence in their bodies and everyday life.

I am also a skilled culinary cook, keen food gardener, and a food-first practitioner. I develop comprehensive food plans, recipes, and lifestyle strategies that focus on reducing menopause symptoms and supporting long-term vitality. My approach combines science and flavour — helping women enjoy nourishing food that heals, energises, and satisfies.

My passion for longevity has taken me around the world. I’ve travelled to several Blue Zones including Japan, Greece, Italy and Costa Rica — the regions known for having many of the longest-living, healthiest populations — to study their traditional diets, lifestyle habits, and community values. While there, I learned to cook using authentic longevity techniques and ingredients that support optimal health, balance, and vitality. These experiences continue to shape the practical, food-based strategies I share with women today.

As much as I love one on one clinic consultations, I truly believe it is my purpose to help as many women as I can to navigate through menopause stages more smoothly. Hence the creation of Menopause Naturally – a hub for women to feel supported, educated and to be seen through their menopause journey and beyond

I spent decades working in businesses from store owner to high level executive. My favourite role for 12 years as a lecturer and educator really came naturally to me. I have a deep passion for educating, inspiring, simplifying complex health concepts and cutting through all the nonsense information out there, so women can understand their bodies and make empowered choices. Sharing knowledge is not just part of my work — it is at the heart of everything I do.

My approach empowers women to:

At my age, yes now a grandma, I understand the realities of health decline and the impact of menopause. What I know to be true is there is incredible power of prevention. I advocate for proactive, naturally based health choices that revitalise the body, balance hormones, improve our mental health and build lifelong vitality for women.
